    2080-lc20-20qwb

    Hello everyone! Please, help me with mu question.
    We have:
    1. Controller 2080-LC20-20QWB;
    2. 2080- SerialSOL;

    Tasks:
    Get data from mass flow meter via RS-485 Modbus RTU network in the first
    controller (left) and next:
    - transfer the received data to RSView32 via Ethernet / IP;
    - transfer the received data to the second controller (on the right), and then from the second the controller transmits this data to the enterprise network over the Modbus TCP network.
    P.S. Sorry for my English.

    Good morning @Engineer,

    Not sure what your question is because the Micro820 appears to support everything you want to do?

    If you've never programmed Micro820 communications and need help, I'd suggest reviewing the below examples.

    First some notes:

    - The built-in serial port of the Micro820 is non-isolated and should not be used to connect to devices outside of the same panel without an isolator.

    - CIP (common industrial protocol) is an open protocol and Rockwell's default, and is supported over both Serial and Ethernet (i.e. Ethernet/IP)
    - Modbus is also available over Serial (RTU) and Ethernet (TCP)
    - See the Micro820 manual for more communication port details: https://literature.rockwellautomatio...m005_-en-e.pdf

    - RSView32 is pretty old, and for it to natively access the Micro820's variables (via OPC) it will need a more current version of RSLinx which has support for the Micro820: https://rockwellautomation.custhelp....1049614/page/1

    Some free Rockwell Micro800 Communication Tech Notes:

    CCW: CIP Generic vs CIP Symbolic for the Micro800 controllers: https://rockwellautomation.custhelp....l/a_id/1058824

    Micro800 supported CIP message data types: https://rockwellautomation.custhelp....l/a_id/1034093

    Micro820: Transferring data between two Micro820 using Modbus RTU: https://rockwellautomation.custhelp....l/a_id/1032507

    Note - The above tech notes (and many more) are accessible with a free Rockwell's website login which is available to anyone with a working email address.

    Best of luck!
