    Unhappy Use literal text in parameter file, FactoryTalk View Site Edition

    Hi,

    Well I try to use a simple text or literal text in parameter file, but If I used String Display, send me an error when I test the screen. If I used a text and I uses this syntax : /*LS:0 {#1}*/, but put a quotation marks. I follow the knownledge base 50972- FactoryTalk View Studio: Passing a Text String as a Parameter, but I canīt to avoid the quotation marks.

    Can you help me ?

    Good morning Omar,

    What are you trying to display in your String Display?

    In my ViewSE course (using v9) in place of String Displays with embedded variables, I used Text objects with text like:

    /*LS:5 {#2}*/ Line Status Screen

    I also found I was unable to use spaces in the text I passed in, which was frustrating but might just be a v9 issue.

    Back in the RSView32 days we use to use $Tag$, but sadly I didn't find support for that in ViewSE.

    Sincerely,
